Mothers Day Menu Ideas

Memories Are Waiting To Be Made

Restaurant Recipes for Mom’s Day

Mothers Day is the busiest day of the year at the restaurant. The restaurant used to serve a hugely elaborate brunch and then close for a couple hours to prepare for a very special dinner menu. But not everyone wants to (or is able to) take Mom, or Grandmother to a restaurant on such a busy day.

For this very special day, I have created three varied menus, one for breakfast, one for brunch and one for dinner, each with all the recipes needed to help the home cook prepare a meal that will be remembered and appreciated forever.

Additional "Food" For Thought...

While writing this Mother's Day menu I remembered a particularly happy Mother's Day. My family celebrated by gathering at my sister's home but before enjoying our meal together, we went outside and each planted a "Forget-Me-Not" flower in the yard as each one of us shared a favorite memory of our mother.

Mom was overjoyed. "What a special treat!" she exclaimed.

We had a wonderful meal and as we ate, more "stories" about our mother were remembered and told.

Those "Forget-Me-Not" flowers still bloom every year.

The other reason the restaurant stopped the elaborate brunch was price. Many of the regulars wanted to take Mom to breakfast, brunch or dinner but found the cost to be a stretch. The restaurant now offers great (but affordable) specials on the busy day.

Enjoy your Mothers Day Menu Ideas and the company of those you share them with!
