Most people I know love the original Macaroni Cheese Recipe, but also enjoy a number of variations of the classic version. This meatless variation is very special.
This mac and cheese recipe is so good that restaurant customers cannot make up their minds whether they like the classic recipe or this one better.
The recipe was actually developed by someone who did not
like a traditional Macaroni and Cheese Recipe so she experimented until she had
one that was "just perfect" according to her.
She gave me the recipe
and the restaurant offered it to their guests. Many agreed that it is a
fabulous variation. It is creamy and uses three different kinds of cheese. It
is now a real restaurant recipe and a favorite restaurant recipe.
Macaroni and Cheese, almost regardless of the variation, is a true comfort food for most Americans. It not only tastes good, it brings back wonderful memories.
It is a great side dish as well as a dinner or a satisfying lunch when served with an equally delicious salad or just tomato slices.
