Zombie Recipe

Lots Of Rum - Restaurant Drink Recipe

There are many variations on this Zombie Recipe. The original version is credited to the famous Don the Beachcomber.

With all the rum involved, be careful enjoying it or you may turn into a zombie!

He apparently invented the Zombie in the late 1930s. It was a featured beverage at the 1939 World's Fair. The drink remained popular for several decades although many younger people today have never tried one.

The drink is often served in a tall slender glass like a Collins glass or a chimney glass. So-called "Zombie Mugs" are now being used by some people to serve this beverage. I haven't added the mug to my priority list. Probably won't, either. I prefer the glass.
